Sappho was a massive hit on its release in March 2008 in its home territory
Sappho is a provocative and passionate boy-girl-boy love story. The movie was written and directed by Robert Crombie, photographed by Baghir Rafiyev, and produced by Artur Novikov and Andrei Novikov. Yalta Film is currently finishing a full-length feature film based on The Good Soldier Schweik - Jaroslav Hasek’s world-famous comic novel about a little man caught up in the cogs of an inhuman war machine. The movie is scheduled for cinema release just before Christmas 2008. Read more...
Yalta Film has also co-produced Ligiea – a screen version of Edgar Allen Poe’s famous horror tale of a girl who refuses to die.
